Additional info: This was done by rendering several layers of
the same portion of the mandelbrot but with different affects
applied. the layers were composited in PS with different transfer modes.
I think this is a creature about to turn a corner into someting
unknown. It may have it's family on it's back. It's uncertain but is
about to move on into the darkening.
