The fractal image was created with the FraxPlorer component of
KPT5. This fractal was used to create a height field in Bryce 4 and
was subsequently textured onto the resulting landscape. The
landscape was then tilted vertically to provide a backdrop. The
same fractal was applied to the human figure and carefully
positioned for symmetry and effect. At no time was the fractal
modified. Unfortunately, the eyes could not be textured with the
fractal. Doing so lent an inappropriate cross-eyed look to the
gentleman. I did not want to locally alter the fractal so the eyes
became golden orbs. PaintShopPro5 was used to convert to a jpeg
file but no other modifications were made.
This image illustrates that we cannot completely separate
ourselves from the world at large, and I pray we will all soon
recognize that.
